Laundry Turtle is a family company, and this is the original Laundry Turtle. Its design is covered by two US patents, so the one you order here is the real thing.
It started with founder Eric Mendes, a student and immigrant doing laundry in a tiny apartment. When his parents joined him in Canada in 2019, he saw his mom struggling with laundry too, and the family built prototypes together at her sewing table. The name is for her: the family calls her Tartaruguinha, Portuguese for “Little Turtle.”

Will it fit my washer or dryer?
It works with front-load washers and dryers. It's flexible, so it adapts to different drum sizes without any changes to your machine. It isn't designed for top-load machines.
Do I need to scoop the clothes in?
No. Lay it on top of the clothes and turn the drum by hand. The clothes gather inside the Turtle as the drum turns.
Which size should I choose?
Small is 21 inches across and costs $27.99. Large is 26 inches across and costs $29.99.
How do I store it?
It folds flat in seconds and goes into its own pouch, so you can keep it in a drawer, on a hook or between your machines.
What is it made of?
It's made from durable, flexible materials built for everyday use, with soft spandex edges for a better grip and protection.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is free. Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days, and delivery usually takes 3 to 5 business days after that. We ship to the continental US and Canada, not including Hawaii, Alaska or P.O. boxes.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every Laundry Turtle comes with a 1-year warranty.
Can I return it?
Yes. You have 15 days after your order arrives to request a return, and the Turtle needs to be unused and in its original packaging. Email refund@laundryturtle.com to start one. Return shipping isn't covered, and there's a $5 restocking fee.
